One account across the whole library
Sign-in now accepts a phone number as a first-class identifier, and the account you create works across every title we carry.
From today a PES account can be created with either an email address or a mobile number. Neither is a fallback for the other — a phone-first account is a complete account, with the same access to the library, the same tournament eligibility and the same recovery options.
We made this change because a meaningful share of the people playing on our Asia-Pacific and Middle East edge nodes do not have an email address they check. Requiring one was not a security decision, it was an inherited default, and it was quietly excluding people from a platform that had nothing else standing in their way.
Existing accounts are unaffected. If you created an account with an email address it continues to work exactly as before, and there is nothing you need to do. Adding a second contact method to an existing account is on the roadmap for the next platform release rather than shipping today.
The registration form asks for two confirmations and no more: that you meet the minimum age and accept the platform agreements, and separately whether you want to hear from us. The second one is genuinely optional and defaults to off. We do not pre-tick consent boxes.
